August 2012 - Ingram's move Bannatyne's
94 staff at Bannatyne Fitness Limited relocated from their Houghton Road, Darlington to state-of-the-art new premises situtated within 150 metres of the old head offices. Kevin Pedelty lead a team of 14 staff accompanied by 4 wagons over 8 days to carry out the move from 13th to 20th August. Working off carefully prepared floor plans, the move included Ingram's staff packing and unpacking 600 crates and carrying out all P.C. disconnections & reconnections.
One important aspect of the contract was the precise timing of Bannatyne's national call centre move, with the office contents requiring packing and moving late on the Friday afternoon, with unpacking and office furniture placed in the correct positions over the weekend using floor plans, ready for the national call centre to be fully operational and functional for the following Monday morning.
The I.T. specification was planned by John Nightingale (Turbine IT Ltd) and implemented by Stuart Smith alongside Ingram's I.T. operative Christopher Pears.
At Bannatyne's new premises, specialised quilted padded door covers were used to protect all doors and door frames with the new access lift fully protected again using padded quilts to prevent any potential damage.
Upon completion of the move Bannatyne's Project Manager Mark Thornhill was highly delighted with the service given: "Ingrams constantly put me totally at ease with the logistical challenges moving from our old head office building to our new
corporate space in Darlington. The planning and quality of staff were excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
Nothing was too much trouble."
Duncan Bannatyne OBE D.Sc DBA commented: "I would highly recommend Ingram's Removals, I have used them on a domestic and commercial basis and they offer the best service by far. Malcolm and his staff are very professional, helpful, courteous and extremely hard working. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Malcolm and his staff for the exceptional service they provided on my latest move."

August 2018 - Darlington railway station - Piano donation
A piano has been installed in Darlington railway station for commuters who want to tickle the ivories while waiting for the train. Malcolm Ingram, of Ingram's Removals, donated the Hemingway piano after one of his customers no longer had space for it. With the help of Gavin Atkins and Philip Stokes (with his guide dog Winter), they dusted off and fine-tuned the instrument. David Keech stated, "We are delighted to receive this fabulous piano. We invite customers to Darlington to have a go next time they visit the station. The piano creates a fantastic atmosphere so our thanks go to Ingram's and also to the original owners for the kind donation." Malcolm Ingram came up with the idea after he was inspired by talented commuters in a St Pancras television documentary.

Brian Lawrence - 3rd February 2019 - Darlington to Middleton-St-George
I wanted to thank you for coming to our rescue on the day of our move - Thursday 24th January - after we were let down by (name supplied) Removals. As you know, moving house is a very stressful occasion and we were stressed even more on the morning of the move when (name supplied) called at 07:30 to inform us that he couldn't fulfil his contract because of staff illness. He actually asked us if we could 'wait' until the following Saturday ! Unbelievable.
Fortunately the two gentlemen you sent to help us out, Kevin and Simo were absolutely brilliant. They were very professional, courteous, considerate and obliging. nothing was too much trouble for them and they handled our belongings with the greatest of care. We were so pleased that what started out as an early morning 'nightmare', turned out to be the best removal day that my partner Carol and I have experienced.
Our stay at this address will be a temporary one, possibly six months or so, and when it's time to move again I will not hesitate to use Ingram's. Once again, many thanks to all concerned.
Nick and Sue Cooke - 14th August 2019 - Newton Aycliffe to Darlington
Just a note to say thank you and your team for the house move you carried out for us. We were very happy with the quote, having used your services before. And with the packing boxes you supplied prior to the move. The three lads who actually carried out the move were excellent/friendly, professional, hard working and nothing was too much trouble. I would be happy to recommend Ingram's Removals.
